Stillness, labour, inner tension

Step into the place where Tammsaare's world rises out of fields, work, and the human struggle within.

Vargamae is both a journey into Estonian literary history and a landscape where forest, bog, and old farm roads invite you to slow down.

Two ways in

Some come here for stillness and atmosphere, others to learn together in the place itself.

Vargamae welcomes both the individual visitor looking for a meaningful day out and the group seeking a deeper encounter with literature, history, and rural life.
